Welcome to
Euler Academy – Bright Futures

Euler Academy is a brand-new specialist primary provision for children aged 5-11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) as their primary need.

At Euler we have a nurturing and inclusive environment where care and mutual respect promote positive relationships. Our children and families feel special and belong to our supportive Euler community. Our children and families are listened to. Our staff know children and their families exceptionally well and build positive, productive relationships so all children succeed. Our staff have high expectations of children’s behaviour and learning so that children can grow in confidence. Our staff have high aspirations so that children will be broad in outlook to see beyond themselves, to reach confidently into a world of opportunity.

Euler Academy is a unique school with two distinct curriculum offers.

All children at Euler have an Education, Health and Care Plan and for most Euler is their permanent school. Children access a broad and balanced curriculum delivered through meticulous planning for steps in academic learning coupled with carefully integrated classroom therapy enabling children to make the best possible progress.

Some children come to Euler for a short-term placement whilst still registered at their mainstream school. We support the child to re-engage with learning, identify and close any gaps in basic skills and teach learning behaviour that help them return to their mainstream school. We provide advice and support families working in partnership with the mainstream school throughout the placement.

Visits to the school are welcomed. We look forward to working in partnership with you.

In PE we have developed our balancing skills. We then played a game to test our skills.

In maths we learnt about the minute hand and hour hand on a clock. We then played games linked to telling the time.
